yeah!! im finally updating regularly (: today i shall talk about the beijing olympics :DDD



their majestic national stadium. also nicknamed as Beijing's Birdnest (: (imagine the size of the bird who lives here o.O)

i watched the gymnastics competition earlier this morning from 10am to 11am+ this girl is Deng Li Ling. she's in the artistic gymnastics women's group. all 3 members are 16 and below :O she has to do her routine on a "pole" (not sure what thats called) horizontal pole ... when she jumps, she must land on the "pole" once she falls, she's dead. before there was one eurasian, she was doing her routine and fell O_O she got a score of 12.(something) )):

this is the reknowned 5 times world champion Cheng Fei doing the routine on the vault. looks sorta like a horse gallop thingy.

last member of their group (: Jiang Yu Yuan, performing floor exercise (: the floor is kinda bouncy like a trampolene. she has to jump and do all sorts of flips and stuff.

today we celebrated national day eve :D it was... crappy. we were supposed to say the pledge while holding hands. apparently, our radio malfunctioned and we didn't get the cue to start saying the pledge in unision. although we did hear someone say "5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" and we thought it was just some crazy cue to scream and cheer.

so yup, we wasted 3 hrs sitting/standing/squatting in the hot sun waiting for a imaginery cue. we played many crazy games too :D and i learnt 3 new games (: we also had this BOMB game. hahaha!! the best part was, when we had bombed every class, we went ultra BORED AND lame SO we went LOYALTY BOMB, LOYALTY BOMB, LOYALTY BOMB TO MR LIN BOMB. XDDDDDDDDD see what i mean?

the whole sec 2 level also decided to have this kallang wave thingy going on, sadly, it always ended at purity -___- ate loads of chips and chocolates that kind souls brought and shared. ((: among my class, we also played this crazy but fantastic game. it was called HAMBURGER. the first person had to say "hamburger" softly and the next has to say it louder than the previous. so it goes on and on until the last person or until a certain point where the next person is unable to say it louder. :DD it was SOOOOO funny XDDD especially when sherrilyn and claudia tried to outdo each other.

christine taught jerlyn and I the "water bottle game" it was sorta a type of concentration game too. so we got faster... and faster... and faster... and faster... up to a point where we finally gave up. i didn't whether it was because of our tiredness or because everybody was losing. o.O
